Wednesday:
Altho I did take SOME of my food along on the trip... I figured we'd be out at mid-day time so taking lunch was useless... I did take a cooler.. (for last nite's dinner and today's breakfast) And ice and more ice.. But lunch/dinner for today still would have not made it most likely so... I did good,
For lunch: If you are going to go out for lunch... you might visit Dietfacts.com in advance if you can... to see what would be your best choice. They list tons of restaurant and their food... and all the calorie/fat info you need on them. We went to Arby's... And they now have chicken salad WRAPS. And the chicken salad has the same things in it SS does.. chicken, lite mayo with chopped up grapes, apples & walnuts on a leaf of lettuce wrapped in a whole wheat tortilla.
So I ate 1/2 of it, and wrapped up the other 1/2... Tossed it at home.. (Dietfacts.com says this wrap is 640 calories, so I ate 320 which is perfect for a lunch.) I also had a bottle of water as they sell Dasani there.
For dinner: just before leaving Chicago, we went to McDonald's... And I had a Chicken Asian salad... Ate the chicken breast and 1/3 of the salad... So it went well and I was full.
