Day 4:
Friday Morning breakfast:
Yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Breakfast Wrap!
Inside this tortilla was the most wonder ful combination of egg/filling. The label said whole eggs... plus 5 cheeses! (cottage cheese, ricotta cheese, mozzella, cheddar and swiss) wow... I don't know about you but I wouldn't have had the patience to mix all 5 of those, and they came together Great! Then.. after warming it in the micro (which did NOT dry it out, it was very moist), I topped it with the generous amount of salsa included and had one of my 8oz glasses of skim milk - WOW... it was wonderful.
Lunch:
I switched lunches for the first time. I wanted to save Friday's lunch for Saturday...more on that later. So lunch consisted of Soup & Salad. Tortellini Vegetable Soup with 4 or 5 tortellinis in there.. and CHUNKS of vegetables, and a Spinach salad with red onion slice, shredded carrots and WALNUTS. I saved some walnuts for later to munch on and get thru the afternoon... I'm learning that. Oh, and a rye bun, which I warmed in the micro (10 secs) and a raspberry dressing for the salad!... Very good Seattle!
Dinner:
Wow... pasta week.. that's ok I love Pasta!.. Heirloom Ravioli, LARGE cheese filled raviolis... these were a good 3" in diameter.. and there were 4 or 5 of them.. quite good and quite filling.. in a nice tomato-y sauce - I wasn't sure of the garlic bread, it looked lightweight... and it was... but it was crunchy and garlicy... ok.. it'll work! (and milk of course)
Hmm nothing I can keep for later... but I got thru another day, without feeling too slighted.
