Day 3!
Last nite I had Orange Roughy on a bed of rice. They seasoned it nicely and was cooked perfectly.
It came with a side dish of carrots. Most of them were fine... a few overcooked in the microwave process I think.
no cookies this time, and no fruit so nothing to save for later... but the food was good, and I ate late so I didn't have time to get hungry before bedtime.
Today's breakfast was a dry flax cereal mix - I'd have called it a trail mix, or a granola, but whatever. It was good.. it had the right balance of sweet and non-sweet. I suppose you could pour milk over it and have it in a bowl, but I was on the run and it worked well in the car.
Lunch... a Pocket Pita was fan-tab-ulous.
garbanzo beans for protein...
swiss cheese, which i don't like but didn't taste with the other stuff
fresh lettuce!
strips of green peppers
and a white cucumber sauce to pour over it or dip it in, or both
It was truly great.
Oh, and a tangerine for a snack...
and tonite I pick up my food for the rest of the week! YAY!... (Chop Suey is for dinner I think)
PS - and I'm NOT the one who had baked mostachooli for lunch...
